This scene was painted after I visited this area. The river is a branch of the Susquehanna River. This particular scene is near the town of Mahaffey, Pennsylvania. I actually painted two scenes; the second scene depicts the river adjacent to this scene. The tree lines match exactly so they will make a great display. They are currently framed in a 2" medium brown oak or could be placed together in a single large frame as a diptych. I will list the second painting separately.
